2021 Q1 Industry HR Roundtable Luncheon

The Cordele-Crisp Industrial Development Council HR Roundtable Luncheon will be on March 2nd at 12:00 pm. If you are in HR, please make plans to join us!  Contact Christy Bozeman at 229-273-9570 for more information.    

The last meeting was held on September 15, 2020.  During the luncheon, HR Directors and Senior Managers representing Cordele-Crisp County companies came to network, share ideas, and collaborate to address workforce strategies in Crisp County.  Workforce partners South Georgia Technical College and Crisp County Public Schools were in attendance as well.  Thank you to South Georgia Technical College hosting our Q3 2020 HR Roundtable Luncheon. Please contact Christy Bozeman at christybozeman@crispidc.com if a HR representative from your company is interested in attending. This meeting is open to all HR professionals in the community.

Gov. Nathan Deal today announced that Farmax Merchandise, a China-based peanut production and exporting company, will create more than 20 jobs and invest $5 million in a new peanut oil processing facility in Crisp County.

About the Industrial Development Council.
The IDC was founded in 1987 by the City of Cordele, Crisp County Board of Commissioners, and Crisp County Power Commission to promote, develop, and expand industry, agriculture, trade, and commerce for the citizens of Cordele/Crisp County, Georgia. The primary responsibility of this council is to recruit new business and industry to the community, and create new jobs for the community. The council also assists existing businesses and industry with expansion efforts to provide additional jobs, thereby, improving the quality of life of all the people of Crisp County.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Cordele/Crisp Industrial Development Council, Inc. shall be to assist in the retention of existing jobs and to foster employment opportunities that raise the per capita income of area citizens by assisting new and existing business and industry to locate and/or expand in Crisp County.

Commitment Statement To accomplish its mission, the members of the Cordele/Crisp Industrial Development Council, Inc. commit to maintain a harmonious and cooperative working relationship between all its public and private sector representative members in order to fully utilize their collective resources in increasing employment opportunities for area citizens.
