Welcome to Our Community
in South Georgia.
Crisp County is an
ideal choice for the location of your business. We have the
infrastructure in place to support your business well into the
future. We continue to upgrade the community services so your
business can keep up with the demands on doing business in today's
global marketplace. We continue to upgrade our fiber networks
and T1/DSL service throughout the community in order to provide
seamless service to keep your business connected.
Our location along the I-75 and GA 300 corridor and our competitive
electric rates make us an ideal Distribution and Manufacturing
location. Our low operating costs and designation as a Federal
Rural Empowerment Zone make Crisp County very enticing and affords
a total of $7,000 in job tax credits for each new job created.
Unions are non-existent in Crisp County and our wage rates,
though low by National standards, offer our citizens a livable
working wage and at the same time allow your business to operate
at the lowest costs available in Southwest Georgia.
Manufacturing, distribution and the service industry make up
over 60% of our economy. Agriculture still plays a significant
role in the economy as well as the daily life of community and
our history is still "rooted" in Agriculture, but
